PS - What kind of winders are those? Mind if I ask where you got them?

The 'lings I have had (there have been others asside from what I have now) all really benefit from getting their "recommended" maintenance.

At 2 years you send in for movement refresh (all gasgets changed, balance, and spring recalibrated) and at 5 years they recommend a full "overhaul" (all of the 2 year stuff done again and the case is also cleaned/buffed so it will look like a brand new watch).

Since you have a 2yr warranty I think it is best to just send the watch in at 20 months and have the 2 yr refresh done for free. The 5 year "overhaul" usually runs $500 or so but you really do get back a watch that looks brand new.

As far as a few minutes a week... your Navi has some issues .. you shouldn't lose more than 90 seconds a month or so. Sorry to say but your watch wouldn't even retain the CSOC certification anymore.. nothing some service couldn't address though.

The winders I have are just cheap generic dual winders I found on Amazon.com (I think they were $80 or so each). They work very well with many winding programs, will alternate direction, and are virtually silent... sorry I can't tell you their specific model but they really are kind of generic

I had a Breitling Navitimer Heritage Limited Edition, 1 of 250. Loved that watch, just never wore it so I sold it.

I'm a pilot and I don't like Brietlings.

Rocking the Omega Seamaster. Tag is in rotation for suits and Kennith Cole for beating around.

I've spent hundreds on various other watches. However, my $50 timex is the best watch I've ever owned. In all the 5 years I've owned it, it has never lost time. I've never maintained it either, outside of only replacing one wrist strap-pin thing.

Sinn 103

Sinn 103 st sa, Valjoux 7750 movement. I use the metal braclet in the summer, shark skin in the winter. These are stock photos I found on the web. The one on the leather band I think is a mechanical wind-up 103 since it appears not to have screw down pushers. The auto has he screw downs as in the second photo.

shut up you twat. everyone has their own vice. majority of guys are also watch people.

a phone is not ubiquitously allowed in every place in the world so a watch is necessary.

yeah. i wear my watch everywhere, except to bed, fukin, and riding in leathers at the track, tho i used to do that, and cooking, hate cooking with it, but sometimes i dont realize its on till im almost done.

also leather watches, no more, they all stinky after a few years.
it would be nice to have a watch for every day of the week, but i really only need one.
