Oddly enough the first time I took the needles off they came off with a small amount of force.
Since putting them back on again I am unable to remove the fuel needle again, its stuck on there fast.

Oh, and here is my resprayed silver dash looking great if I do say so myself.
I also removed the original black trim, sprayed with 3 layers of silver over 3 days, then 3 layers of lacquer over 48 hours.
I like!

i love the silver on the trim panels that is awesome, the gauge surround looks good too! i'm still not sure on my colours. Going to swap to white needles this weekend again and filter out some more blue. I like the white illuminated needles me thinks.

The only things not to have blue LED's is the LCD in the dash, i like the contrast of orange and blue as my cd head unit has orange buttons and a blue OLED screen, so it matches everything. The aircon screen and buttons I changed to blue, and have left the window lift buttons orange.

I also have a blue EL wire up under the trim and below the aircon controls.

This isnt a great picture and the aircon isnt on, but gives you an idea!

I like how the dials reflect off the silver, looks good. Is it not too bright though with all the light reflecting? I really need to finish my HVAC controls off but i spent today fixing my windows, heading over to write a DIY up now

No its not too bright at all, just right. I've yet to do a long night drive since the LED upgrade but its no brighter than the OEL screen on my head unit... thankfully if they do BMW gave us that little adjustment dial
