Here you go it does not say Dynavin but I am sure it is.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT The sellers location says Queensland but if you read down I think it is coming from the UK. $868 delivered, TV and reversing camera are options. I am sure I saw one from the US a little while ago for around the $800 mark that included the camera free. I think its pretty good value considering even if you got all the OEM stuff second hand and installed it yourself you would be looking somewhere between $2000-2500. There seems to be a lack of units on ebay at the moment there are usually a few OEM/Dynavin and Panasonic units about across Australia/US/UK. Howie Last edited by howie1971; 06-21-2010 at 05:45 AM. |

Love your work Johny! You are one motivated MF
![]() Quick questions, Does this unit have the same functions that are on the factory Units? 1) Beep when you go over a certain speed (which you can set in the OEM TV computer settings)? 2) With my factory unit when I change the time on the TV unit it changes the time on my dash also. Does the Dynavin do that also? I'm definitely interested, but I’m worried about all the little things and also some of the quirks I’m hearing about. |

First of all I haven't tried Beep function when you drive over limit but I think you can set on NAV. No is not, you have to do manual both, it doesn't link each other.

Actually how DO you change the time on the instrument cluster without the head unit? via the stalk and steering wheel controls?

You twist/turn the right hand stalk/button in the instrument cluster and hold it as the time starts counting up and then release when time is right to set.

No, you'll lose the stacker, doesn't matter though you can use the USB port for all your music

Have a look at this.. its not the Dynavin unit afaik. The layout seems different and it says
"3,CDC: compatible for original 6 CDC or 10 CDC" http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-Gps-Navigati...item4ceef36b71 I dont have a CD changer so Im not bothered. Do a search on google for HL-8788GB I think the HL is the company name 'HuaLingan' and here is another version ![]() But IMO dynavin is a safer bet as there seems to be a whole lot of support and a community behind it including the forum. But that is not to say this HL unit will not be better than the Dynavin. You never know! e.g. DICE vs USAspec. Last edited by fgin; 07-15-2010 at 09:30 PM. |
