fill it up plenty!

got some new tires today...picked up a new clay kit too....

Well, not all today, but over the weekend and it spilled into today before completion:

Struts
Shocks
springs all around
RTABs
LCABS
CAs
tie rods
all 4 end links
sway bar bushings
steering coupling
oil/filter
air filter
oil level sensor
4-wheel alignment.

Now I just need to do some touch-up painting, replace headlight covers, and replace driver door window trim/seal on outside/bottom of window.

Then she'll be showroom new. It as a long weekend. Everything but the alignment was DIY, thanks to all the help and references here.

added the black rear bench and black center armrest... now to get those rear headrests





Unsure about the bolsters in the rear... almost like the look with the tan.

Just got the XI detailed by On The Spot. Came to my office and did a nice 3-step. Didn't do a huge amount of correction (wasn't really needed) but they did get out some of the swirls from the trunk lid. I think they did a good job and having two people working on the car at once really speeds things up. I know I could done better but not without spending an entire day with a PC and a bottle of Zaino swirl remover. She was dirty and needed a good clean and polish, and that's exactly what she got. Can't beat the convenience and they were really nice folks!

Tonight I'll be loading up for a trip, checking tire pressures, inspecting the spare, etc.

I hope thats not the completed thing because those all black seats look really out of place for a two tone interior, especially with the carpet.

drove her like she was meant to be driven

I will continue to march through the interior but it's definitely not "done".

Coming soon:

Black rear bolsters. You will notice the ones in now are actually tan
Black rear headrests. I assumed they would come with the rear bench but no such luck.

In distant future:

Black headliner. Will pull it down and do it in black microfiber or black suede
Black carpet.. but honestly, I'm in no rush. I have black floormats

Today I finally cleaned a disgusting bug carcass from my headlight. Took about 4 minutes. I was exhausted.
Thoroughly enjoyed a beer after it.

Did a few things for my car today:
Installed OEM Clears
Retrofitted the alarm system
Retrofitted rear foglights

Here are pics and a video. I apologize for the quality, they were taken w/ my phone. I didn't feel like taking out the SLR (car's too dirty anyway).

Also not sure why the video is really bad quality. The iPhone shoots 720p, and the vid looks fine on the phone itself, but youtube really messed up the quality

Today was a big day, I got my new mats, new leather shifter , new armrest & new fender turn signal lights! Everything installed, I'm very happy. Got a bunch more stuff planned.

Nothing yet today, but over the past week, I installed a full set of new OEM floor mats, installed the Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth kit, front license delete strip, new ignition coil for #1 cylinder and detailed the crap out of it. The guys at BavAuto are getting to where they know my voice.

New carpc motherboard installed and HDMI lead from rear to front to support the upcoming 7" HD transflective LCD

Can you point me to more info on the rear fogs? Did you have to have the feature "turned on" at the dealer? What about the alarm? Plug and play or did it require a trip to the dealer? Thanks!
