330i hits the scales

I couldn't resist.

I had the 330i up on jack stands yesterday to swap the OEM 3.38 open diff for my 4.10 8-clutch race LSD, and Ground Control lower control arms. On the way down it landed on the scales:

Without me in the car, no spare tire, and 1/3 tank gas:

Full interior, power seats, sunroof, no additional stereo.

With the 4.10 LSD, it's an absolute blast to drive. Even under hard cornering I never have the back end step out. This car just hooks up....

whats weird is how the right front weighs more than the left, and the opposite at the back.

Its the way the motor is tilted, and the heavy asss muffler in the back left.

its just how it works. i think this article about corner balancing describes it pretty well:

Imagine a car as a four legged chair. In order for the chair to stand steadily, all four legs should be of equal length and as a consequence applying equal pressure on the floor. If one leg is longer, or shorter than the others, we have a chair that rocks, and is unstable.

Were the pads level and zero'd out before taking the measurements?
