I would pm Anthony@BimmerBrakes for your O2 sims. Tell him bigseth2468 sent you and he will hook you up! Good luck!

Do Technik Headers prevent access to the cooling system drain plug? Are O2 Simulators 100% effective at preventing EMLs and passing Smog?

In my case, they are 100% effective in preventing an SES. If you live in a state with a sniffer, you won't pass.

Unless you have an aftermarket Cat, right? Do your pipes interfere with the cooling system drain plug?

That does bring up a good question. Which aftermarket cat works best for a header set up? Mine trows a code every so often

Correct. I dunno, I'd have to look. I'll be under the car in a few days, I'll let you know, then.

If you're going to run aftermarket cats (for the sake of the environment), I suggest just installing them but still running a simulator. A lot of aftermarket cats will still throw codes. I ran the Magnaflow cats.

Magnaflow is your best bang for the buck.
