Sway bars disconnected
So I'm changing my oil tonight, and I notice that neither side of my front sway bars are connected... Not sure about the rear... Is that bad? How bad? Do/how do I fix it?

Are the sway bar end links that go from the strut to the sway bar there? If not you need new ones. |

Well the links are there, I think the back side of the bolt isn't there... but I have never worked on sway bars or suspension components before so I'm not too sure how it all works... I'll look into whats there and whats not this week, any help, tips, diagrams, would all be very welcomed.

If you determine your front swaybar is in fact "disconnected", you will notice a huge difference in steering/handling when it is fixed. Same with the rear.

Ok, just tore apart the front end, the lower ball joints failed, so it was separated from the joint on both sides, looks like I'll need to purchase entirely new links though correct?

Yep. Luckily they're inexpensive and extremely easy to install.
