Talk about custom install....someone here has one installed in the rear view mirror. Was etched into the glass.......no joke. Wish I could find the thread but it was a while ago and a real custom job. Best I have ever seen at least. I am sure someone who has been here a while remembers it.

Best place for display, IMO. Only those with manual trans can do it. Put the radar unit under the passenger side visor.

THE best one i have seen actually drilled into the area in between the tach and speedo to put the arrows in, and then replaced the transmission readout with the bands and strength. the rear view mirror, while cool doesn't really offer you anything else in the way of making it easier to read. it'll be just as difficult to see as it would without the display.

i saw a few done like that, i'd rather see it in the dash, this is the best way 2 do it hands down.

i will not be taking my cluster apart though so oh well. i think Escort makes one where all the parts are separate, but that thing is $$$$ and i still dont think its 2 directional.
