Question Barcode on front bumper

So in the process of installing my euro front license plate bracket, I found this cryptic sticker on the front bumper behind the center black bumper trim. It looks like the build date and time of the car, color, E46 4dr and the fact that the sticker is in the front (vorne). Any idea what the rest of it means?

That is an item reference sticker for that bumper, which contains the manufactured date, the mould number (so any imperfections with the production can be isolated), batch, serial number etc. It is fitment for a 4 door car and colored "Mystic Blue"

It is used for easily identifying items that were in the vast storage areas either internally or at a third party location, ready for installation on a new car, or as a replacement. The bumpers are pre-made and pre-painted ready for fitment, possibly even at a different factory (or maybe even produced by a third party to BMW spec, as with the seats) as opposed to being manufactured at the same time and factory as the car.

Petro: so the label is really just ID for the bumper and not the car, even though the bumper is very specific to the car type (4 door, color, E46, etc)? One of a few parts on the car with the lot/batch and serial number label still on it.

100th post!
