Wing/Spiltter advice

Not sure how many of you guys are track nuts but I wanted to ask the track savy guys how they feel about rear wings on the e46 platform. I have a lot of track experience (run advanced/intructor in all clubs), but I've not had a lot of experience with wings on an e46. I've seen some Voltex applications as well as some APR applications-- does anyone have any thoughts to which is best?

saw that link and thought it looked good, but how does something like that hold up bolted to a CF boot lid? how soon does the lid need to be replaced? Can I find one of the factory racecar wings/ boot lid set ups ?

I'm also looking for some advice on a good front splitter set up, if anyone knows of a decent front splitter kit that they can recommend based on experience I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

I've seen these for splitters, seem to look like they might do the trick, anyone used either?

How much do you want to spend? This will narrow the search down.

I would be inclined to recommend the ACS rear wing and splitter or Alpina aero. IIRC, they actually do aero testing. I think Alpina partners with BMW to use their facilities for aero testing. So those products should provide some amount of known downforce and known results.

I've seen wings for 2-3k and I would probably do something in that range, could be swayed up to 5k if it's something awesome, probably not though.

The splitters I pasted were in the 1-2k range, but I would pay more if someone can convince me that I am getting my money's worth.

I'd consider the ACS stuff but I feel like the ACS wing wouldn't have any access to clean air. Anyone had experience with this wing on the track?

If I were you I'd get the BimmerWorld wing, and apparently James has a solution to mounting it to a CF trunk, although I'm not sure exactly what it is.

For a splitter I would do what they did here which involves an ebay lip and a piece of Alumalite(Aluminum/plastic sign material, ~$100 for a 4'x8' piece).
