replacing shocks on xi. will i need a 4 way alignment?

i changed out my oem shocks with blistien sport shocks. will i need a 4 way alignment or will this be fine?

if you mark the bolts on the front shocks, so you can get the bolts back in the same spot the current ones are you "should" be ok... ideally you should get an alignment... are you changing the springs, ride height by chance? if your changing the ride height then you will need an alignment.

yup

suspension shouldnt be too far off with the old vs new shocks. geometry only changes with lowered springs or coilovers. you shouldnt need to mark anything because your front suspension has pins to ensure properly lined up.

that good to know. i had a 4 way alignment done when i lowered the car with h&r springs on my oem shocks. that was about 2,000 miles ago. then the oem shocks blew and thats why i just changed over to blistiens.

so since i did not change the height of the car i should be good then.

actually I lowered my car with H&R sport springs (replacing OEM sport springs) and had the alignment checked - still within spec

the camber could be way off though. without marking it, you will not be able to get the camber the alignment place set... you might wind up running positive camber, and not even realize it....

That is unless you just run max neg camber on both sides

it could.... if you install it completely wrong and dont line up your pin. again, changing shocks does not change the geometry of your suspension and its hart not to install it properly.
