BMW Roundel Replacement from JleviSW
First and foremost, your BMW Roundel is front-and-center when you drive, and therefore often chips or dents from rocks and freeway debris. Once this happens, the entire roundel can easily peel, leaving the chrome beneath to shine in the sun. This is common, but can be frustrating, as it is so blatantly noticeable. An aftermarket logo can be more affordable than a replacement BMW emblem from the dealership, while still maintaining the original fit and finish of an OE part. Furthermore, when customizing your BMW, you may have chosen to go with a carbon fiber theme, or to "blackout" your car's amber and red lights, creating a unique monochromatic look. For this reason, it may be appropriate to change the color of your BMW emblem. While some view this as adulterating a classic and prestigious crest, the vast majority see it as an intriguing metaphor; The modified BMW logo represents the aftermarket upgrades you've installed on your BMW. Examples of Roundel Customization Carbon Fiber BMW Emblems | Monochrome Black & White BMW Roundels | Vinyl BMW Roundel Overlays ![]() How to Replace Your BMW Roundel The video below will walk you through the relatively simple installation procedure for replacing your BMW emblem. However you choose to upgrade your BMW Roundel, your car will stand out and let people know that you've put in the time and effort to make your BMW a unique and personalized work of art. And, at a more affordable price than an OEM BMW Roundel, this is one upgrade that won't break the bank. |

We told Tim that this was a really cool new product and a lot of people were asking questions about it ("do they fit like oem? How hard are they to replace"), so we had written an article about it... The E46Fanatics community is all about educating enthusiasts. Tim and Mark (owners of E46Fanatics) have a strict guideline that if it's educational, sponsors can write articles and have them featured. So while our advertisements would NEVER be featured, (we get no special treatment on this, I assure you) we've had a few of our "tutorial" or "complete guide to" articles featured on the site in the past. You know, we're enthusiasts, too Last edited by Jlevi SW; 07-30-2010 at 03:33 PM. |

"un-riced" really man? Changing your emblems does not make you a "rice-er".....now its when you add those really over done spoilers and exhaust pipes the size of a basketball ![]() i.e. if you are going with a red and black theme, a red and white roundel would look good...or the blacked out theme. A CF black and white roundel would be a great addition. just changing your emblems can only add an appeal to the car.
