Rims for my 330i

I have a 04 330i ZHP and I want to get lighter wheels (20 lbs or so) for it without paying more than $2000 for the set, I like the OZ Alleggerita HLT, but I want a silver finish because my car is black and I don't want to go with the all black look. I also want my wheels to be the same size and off set as the stock rims, tall order I know. I didn't buy a BMW because I'm not picky

Look into VMR wheels. They have several styles. I also have a ZHP and the wheels are surprisingly lighter than my ZHP wheel and I got 19's. Before obtaining them, getting the 19's were a weight concern to me but turned out that it was lighter. So the 18's will definitely be lighter.

Call Charles at VMR and he will hook you up with good deal. I was very happy dealing with VMR directly.

Sorry but VMR wheels are not the lightest. Check out LTW5's, OZ Superleggera, Enkei NT03-M and Kosei K1s custom powdercoated. Get better offsets though, stocks are puny.

Look into Forgestar F14s and Apex ARC-8s, those are both really light flow formed cast wheels.

I agree that VMR are not the lightest. But based on his price range, kinda limited.

What offset would you recommend and how would it effect the handling?

Offsets depend on the width of the wheel, tire size, if you're lowered and if you have rolled fenders.

Apex Arc-8s, about 300 a corner. couldn't be happier with them weight or performance wise. Plus, Eddy@Apex is a great guy.

Ok thanks. My car won't be lowered, no rolled fenders, factory tire size front and rear, 18x8.5 front and 18x9 rear wheels.

I think I'm gonna go with the Apex ARC-8's 18.5 lbs for the front 18.5s and 18.7 lbs for the read 18.9s. Thinks for the suggestions.
