my $200 rims transformation

so i bought a set of ASA AR1's for $200 a few months back figuring i cant lose money on them considering they werent cracked and had minimal rash. so in the winter when i purchased them i started refinishing them at a rate of 1 every week in my unheated garage. so yesterday i look at a pile of rims sitting in the back of my garage and figure why not play with em a little. so i did. pics are from when i first bought the rims in the condition they were in to about 5 minutes ago when i took the tape off the second rims. the bronze rim on the left still needs to cure so it may look different in coloration to the one on the right.
