ryan.... that moment we shared that one time, at that one place, that i vaguely remember cannot be repaid by just a simple purchase of a hood and trunk... it will take much more than that for me to make up for it...i'll think of something.

on a more serious note... i can't dude, it bumps me a class for autox. if you had a nice LSD unit for sale... then we can talk.

Just dropped off my car to get the wheels refurbished. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Got my car back from Schomp for the subframe inspection. The car has a clean bill of health - thankfully. They provided a 2010 128i as my loaner, which was a fun little car. It was nice to drive a stick again.

When they pointed to it I got the biggest smile on my face....until I saw the 128i badge. It was still a very fun car to drive.

I've always thought the 1 series looks a lot more like the successor to the E46 than the bloated 3 series out now. The style transition from E36 to E46 was tasteful and subtle, wish that would've been done again.

Azzy, you should be getting ready for Vegas instead of worrying about lousy posts.

If you all haven't heard yet I crashed my car. Not too badly. I was just taking a known turn too fast (like always) and hit a patch of dirt and slid into and on a hill. While backing out to get back on the road I ripped off my front lip and broke some of the lining that holds the front bumper on. Luckily i only bent the intercooler. Was a simple fix for that. Bend it back. lol. I'm surprised I'm not furious, but who can be mad at their own stupidity. Will look fine for the trip to Vegas and Utah. I've got a shop taking the rest of the front lip off and repainting it for $300. I'll get a new lip put on once I get to Georgia. Maybe even a suttle wide fender job for the 285's

Might as well. Dropped it off yesterday and it won't be back till tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. It feels like my car just got deployed for a year and its only been two days.
