i dont think the "trend" of flush or stanced will end.. it has been evolving to this point..
just like when 17" wheels were so radical.. until car companies started to ship cars with 17's.. the wheel fitment got larger and larger..now chrysler ships cars on 20's, go figure. and if you notice some car companies are starting to do away with wheel indentedness..in other words they are coming from the factory more and more flush. i never really liked my car until i "stanced" it because something seemed off..yeah it is form over function to some degree, but so is wearing a $5000 watch. is there excess..yes there is, but who cares? dirty south guys started putting 26" wheels on there caprice classic and it looked silly but again who cares? just enjoy your modding whatever it is.
