Wavetrac LSD Available for E46 Non-M

I was browsing and searching over the net and spotted this for $1219

I've read a couple of (very good) reviews but all of them come from the Japanese car market. Anybody with E46 + Wavetrac experience? I was under the impression that this LSD is for E90/92 market but it appears that it's for E46 as well.

I have one in my vw, i have not had any issue's with it and it seems fine for the 300whp i have. the concept behind the technology they use is what got me to get it and the price was ultra good. I almost went quaife but then chose this. i have been in the market for a diff in the Z4 but have not made a decision yet

Wavetrac dont note an E46 application on their website and it seems that the company noted is the only one that sells them in E46 application.

Would be good to see what people find out.

I've already sent them an e-mail regarding this, now waiting their reply. Hopefully it won't be something disappointing.

None of the BMW diff builders have found a solution for the 188s ?
Or are they too e$$pensive?

they all have, but it is costly.

This prices similarly to a kaaz, but hopefully it wont make the owner's ass as bloody

So, I inquired Wavetrac directly regarding E46 LSD and today I got their response:

Paris,

Thank you for your interest in Wavetrac.
The diff to fit E46 325/328/330 models is currently in production.. It will be available in September or October this year.
List price will be $1295.
We will send you a note when it becomes available.

I got a email from Wavetrac today and here is the scoup.

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your interest in Wavetrac.
For your car, the correct Wavetrac would be 30.309.175WK to fit E46/E90 with 3.15 and higher ratios.
We have only limited stock on hand at the moment, and more expected late January.
Price is $1295.00
