DICE Problems/Questions

I have two DICE kits. And two different iPods I want to use.

One dice is non-silverline and the other is a silverline pro.
One iPod is a 30GB 5th Gen video. The other is a 2nd Gen iPod Touch

I've been using the non-silver with the video for a few months now. No problems really. Screen was still unlocked and I could control it through the radio/steering wheel.

Today the silverline came in the mail so I decided to test it out. I plugged it in with the video ipod and it played although the screen was locked. So I decided to try the ipod touch (old one couldn't charge it and locked the screen). It plays with the screen unlocked.
So I decided to fiddle around with those dip switches. Any other setting besides the default off wouldn't play my video ipod at all. They all played music from the touch though (with the screen varying from unlocked to locked). And I also noticed that the radio controls were harder to use having to push the skip buttons multiple times to get to the next song, and making it extremely difficult to switch to a radio or any other mode.

The vehicle harness I was using during this whole thing was the non-silverline one, I didn't want to rip out my trunk again to run another harness through my car without testing it first. Do I need to swap out the harness for it to work properly? Or should they be interchangeable?

I'll be happy to clarify anything if it was confusing.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Tom, quick questions about my DICE kit...

My radio won't switch to the DICE unit anymore. The MODE button is only good for Radio and CD. Any tips on how to troubleshoot this? I checked all the wires going to the DICE unit that's behind my glovebox and everything seems to be plugged in fine.

It was working great all weekend until I came back from breakfast, turned the radio on, and the DICE unit is no longer an option.
