Beware of Countdown bmw volume 2

Here's the FS thread: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=756826
I say "volume 2" because just saw this othe guy's thread: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=759832

Here's my post/issue:
Preface: I am only posting this because the seller is not responding to PM or phone calls, and he is not addressing the issues with this transaction. I have done everything I can on my end to resolve this, but he is not responding.

Issue: I specifically asked about any other defects to this bumper cover before I bought it.
Quotes from PMs:

Hi, Paint is OEM Tiag. it has no chips very clean bumper. Thanks - Davey
I'm definitely interested... on the last two pics, it's hard to tell if it's cracked or if the pic just looks that way. Could you let me know, or do you have any better pics of the bottom? Thanks!
Francis
Francis, on the bottom it has 1 slit or small tear on both sides where round circles are. They actually get covered or not visible at all once installed. - Davey
Are there any other areas like this? If not, shoot me paypal invoice to fmterway@austin.rr.com

Do you know how long Greyhound shipping usually takes?

Thanks!
Francis
Francis, besides that everything is fine. Greyhound takes 3 - 7 days I will send invoice. Thanks - Davey
Well, it shows up with several issues:
1) Tear in the middle/bottom of the cover
2) Inside area is messed up
3) Multiple runs in the paint/clear coat
4) Packaging was poor, just a few pieces of bubble wrap on some of the edges, so of course it was also messed up in shipping

1) A corner of the cover could be seen sticking out of the package and had no protection on it. It is scraped really badly.

2) On the bottom, right in the middle, there is a big gash in the plastic. I don't think it happened in shipping because the packaging wasn't damaged. This wasn't disclosed before I purshased.

3) On one side of the inside of the cover, one of the areas appears to have been hacked or chewed.

Let me know how you're going to handle this. My preference is a full refund, but am open to reasonable suggestions.

Do know that I'm not a scammer... I have 100% positive feedback for over 40 transactions on M3Forum as both a buyer and seller. I even have instances where one of the items I sent was damaged in shipping, and I paid a full refund to the buyer. I also have 100% positive feedback for over 30 transactions on eBay, again as both buyer and seller.

Thanks for your understanding.
Francis

So, you are handling this through Greyhound, right?
1) I don't agree that the cover was well packaged... the pictures I sent clearly show that.
2) The cover had other defects that you did not disclose despite me specifically asking.
3) Turns out you charged me $75 for shipping, when the actual cost was $43

Sorry to rant, but as a buyer I should not have to deal with these problems and your non-responsiveness. Again, I'm asking for my full refund now. I know you've been online and seeing my PM's. That's fine, but you need to do the right thing. I'm submitting a dispute to PayPal now because of your non-responsiveness and the issues above. You have my email, phone number and can reach me by PM.
1- Greyhound needs to be handled by receiver and it has to been done promptly.

2- uhaul box $15.00 plus, shipping $43.00, insurance $5.00 - handling . tape, delivery to greyhound $$$?

3- Item is as is and was described as used .

4- Item was packaged with care and extra precautions.
Can you honestly say that these were described to me after I specifically asked if there were any other problem areas, and you said "no"?
RUNS IN THE CLEAR/PAINT:

These are not what anyone would describe as "very sharp" as you said. These are only two examples

BUSTED:

MESSED UP:

Why don't you do the right thing? You didn't disclose these, and all you can say is that the shipping was insured?
Seller's only response: Is that he had it insured. He told ME to go deal with it with the shipping company. I pushed back, but no response. So, to cover my bases, I went to Greyhound, and of course they said HE is supposed to do it. But, the guy I spoke with was pretty cool and said he would go ahead and process it since I was there.

I've left this guy multiple PMs and voice messages, but he won't respond. I continue to ask him to explain why he won't refund me and why he didn't disclose the other defects... no response (and he's on the forum every day).

So, hopefully this will finally get his attention, and he will do the right thing. I did put a dispute on PayPal as well, and guess what... no response. So, if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to chime in.[/QUOTE]

For good measure, here's how he describes his packaging as "extra precautions". I guess adding a little bubble wrap here and there qualifies in his book:

Well, he finally responds and says (quote from email): "Send bumper back to sender and will consider some sort of Refund but full refund is out of equation." So, he gets my money and to keep the bumper cover. Who in their right mind would buy something, see it's defective, and then be okay with a partial refund and nothing at all to show for it at the end of the day?

Still nothing from this guy. I hope anyone local doesn't use his shop. No telling what other dishonest things he's capable of.

More "friendly" sentiments from other forum members in one of his other FS threads: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?p=11787290

He's even disabled receiving PM's. Guess he does feel guilty to some extent, but you'd never know by his lack of response and, most importantly, a refund
