OEM Nav system demo
A few people have emailed from time to time asking what various screens etc will look like on the OEM Nav unit. This thread is just a sampling of pictures of the various screens of the system.

![]() But lets be honest, this is for me... We often take her car when we do the Boston --> NJ drive to see the in-laws, and of course, I drive... Which means I need a few number of necessities in order to drive in comfort: M3 wheel, radar detector, Sirius, ipod connectivity, Bluetooth & Nav.

I just got the Nav kit and I am looking to DIY all this over the week. It's depressing to think you can spend $1,000+ on something and just to get iPod and Bluetooth you need to spend another $1000. Imagine if BMW made Running Shoes: $100 for the shoes, $200 for the insoles, $300 for shoe laces, $500 for socks. You see how the logic for OEM NAv retrofit is so....illogical! Anyway, the sheer joy of "doing" this DIY retrofit project is what makes every penny worth it. At the end of the day I may be able to say I did it...and that is priceless.
