Step330Ci, same thing happened to me! I got my car in May. In September they offer SMG, BMW Assist & real aluminium trim. Now comes ZHP! I have the worst luck!

its the mtech kit, you can search in the showroom (there was a thread dedicated to it) or go to www.bmwusa.com and check out the 330i's performance package kit because its the same thing

I agree it makes it 13948210349825 times better... but those lights or more specifically the front corners are hideous. Plus the rear bumper (not that the pre-facelift coupe rear bumpers are that appealing...)

Don't forget:

Mtech front and rear bumpers
Lip Spoiler
Shadowline Trim
Alcantara interior
Differential
Exhaust
M135 wheels

Plus in my experience with the car, the suspension cannot possibly get any better without sacrificing ride quality.

OK, but I was refering to performance.
bumpers = nice, but no biggy
Lip = cool, but no biggy
Shadow = no opinion
Alcantara = maybe
M135 = no thank you
These are nice but have no performance value.

Exhaust = is the a difference and what
Differential = now this is a biggy.

I wonder? What woud a 2001 with my suggested mods do against a stock ZHP?

I hate that Sh!T!!

when I bought my 99 Civic.. two weeks later the civic Si came out..

when I bought my Ack CL-S... a few months later the 6speed came out..

now that I have my 04 ci... the performance package comes out...

anyway, I'm too broke to fork out the extra $4-5K for the option..

i dont' think it'll steal sale from the m3.. simply becase:
------------------------------------------
333hp... vs 235 hp
SMGII vs SMG
LSD Differential vs Open Differential
Quad exhaust vs Dual exhaust
OEM Widebody vs not
------------------------------------------

still plenty to make me drool @ the m3 over the Zhp..

still contemplating if it's worth getting a late 04 m3.. or wait for the e90 m4...

shadowline trim is the trim around the windows. instead of chrome, you get black (glossy for shadowline, flat for M3 trim).

just for those that want to see what it is gonna look like..

only visual difference is that the chrome trim above the window will be black and of course the license plate.

Yea and we will have the disgusting amber reflecters... Other than that I have to admit damn it looks sweet. I'm going to my dealer next Monday and cancel my sedan ZHP order. I will have to think about it and make a decision again

so much for not bringing the M Sport package to US. BMW eventually still have to sell it. If they bring it earlier they make a lot more $$$.
