Yeah those are sick tires but I think they may be to expensive for what Ryan is looking for. Kevin and another of my M3 buddies have these and love them.

For the money I still think the Nitto NT05 is a sick tire. That's what I run on the track and street and I've found them to have a ton of lateral grip but they don't last very long.

I think the RE-11's will be my next set though just because Kevin keeps trying to get me to try them. I'm putting on new NT05's tomorrow though on all 4 corners so I will have to run through those first.

How long do you think those star specs would last?

Well after seeing that they are a 200 tread wear tire I wouldn't think very long. Depending on how you dive maybe 15k miles.

General 595s are good, I like them for 80 a pop

I have 9k miles and 1 track day on my RE 11 tires and they are at 75%...

Does a rear shock tower bar do anything? I'm about to buy a dinan one just so I can have the set and increase my pts...

probably would be (more) noticeable if you had a really aggressive suspension/tire setup and were really pushing it on the track...

well i do have an aggressive suspension setup... And will have some good tires... and I do push my car

I am on H&R race springs and koni yellows right now... Btw guys how stiff is too stiff? I have all 4 set to med and its pretty darn stiff... But my car doesn't slide or skip when taking a fast turn anymore like it did on my oem dampers...

I think Im gonna get some turner sways and wait on the tires till after winter... this seasons almost over...
