so you're saying 5mm front and 10mm rear should be fine w/out any adjustments? Will it make a noticable difference?

I actually have 235/35/19's up front right now. I'm getting new tires, I was planning to keep 245/35/19 in the rear and get 225/35/19 for the front. I'm getting General Exclaim again, and I just realized they make 255/35/19 (i don't remember seeing these before). would it be fine running 235/35/19 front 255/35/19 rear w/out spacers? w/ spacers?

I don't remember the offset of my wheels, but they're VMR VB3's

255/35 profile might be a bit high for the rear and I'm not sure how low a sport cup kit drops it in relation to my coilover drop. You can always test how much you can space out the rear by taking out the springs while the car is lifted, and mounting the wheels using washers for spacers until you find the max size you can go. With the spring taken out and the car lifted, you can then push the wheel all the way up into the wheel well/fender to give an accurate representation if/where it will rub. Just get the wheel and tire setup in your hands, and go from there. VB3 staggered 19" offset is 40F/45R. You'll for sure afford 5mm to make the front ET35 as my wheels are ET35 in the front and I'm happy with their stance. If my rears were ET40, I probably would be content and not do any spacing but I find ET45 are still too far into the wheel well with rolled fenders.

oh that's right now I remember them not being available in 255/30/19. I guess i'll stick to 225/35/19 front and 245/35/19 rear.

I'll try and have some friends weigh down my car so I can make the measurements, or maybe I can get some help when I'm having my new tires mounted.

thanks for all the help!

While the wheels are being swapped it shouldn't be much headache to temporarily take the spring out to explore how the full travel of your suspension will position your tire/wheel at the extremes. Weighing down your car with people won't load the suspension to the point equivalent to what a highspeed dip would do. At the smallest point from wheel/tire to fender liner, measure that and it'll tell you approximately what sized spacer your vehicle's setup can afford.

It doesn't hurt to do a swap for some 19" V713's.

Looks to be a 8.5 +35 and a 9.5 +45 with a 235/265 combo. This is the recommended fitment for Non-M Coupes.

I guess I'm a weirdo, but I like a larger profile tire than most of you (around 3.5-3.7 inch sidewall) in the back, are there any pics of a stock zhp or zsp with 19"s with a larger profile tire like this? or will it rub?

So far I'm going with 18"s with larger tires, but I'd like to move it up to 19's
