Peformance Upgrades to 330i ZHP

so I 'cheaped out and bought a ZHP sedan instead of an M3 because I needed a sedan to haul my dog around in as well as to be my daily driver..was on the fence for a while if I was going to keep it or upgrade to the M3 and if I wanted to put any money into performance upgrades..

have decided on the latter..what should I do to this car to get more power out of it while keeping it NA without breaking the bank?

new long term plan -- DD the ZHP for a few years, save up, and go all out for an E9x M3

i'd gut that b!tch, hit some auto x's and see what i need from there. IMO larger dia sways headers intake ssk tons of cheap stuff to throw on it. The best mod for your money will always be. Find out what you need/want. Take everything else off sell those parts put the money gained from it back into your ride

My Ride: 2006 E46 330Ci ZHP
I was in the same position back in the spring of '06. I was at the dealer with a new '06 330Ci ZHP and a new M3 coupe sitting side by side. I kept alternating between the two in test drives and settled on the ZHP w/alcantara microfiber interior (I hate leather). The main reasons are, as a DD, the M3 rattled your teeth out over the bad streets of Atlanta and jumped sideways into the next lane when going over a bump in a high speed corner (suck up the seat!) and I liked the way the ZHP held the road over bumps and was very quick in heavy traffic. You will see what I have done to the car since then by looking at my garage.

Hard to show pictures of rolling, because it doesn't change the look of the fenders much. For the inside, he probably just used a hammer like I did. There was mild rubbing on my car running 275s that was fixed with a couple of whacks.

I found the fender rolling didn't do enough for the tires I was running, so we ended up cutting out the inner fender and welding in new sections to get the proper clearance. It was very expensive....
