Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly would rear foglights accomplish besides making

drivers behind you freak out because they think there is a car facing them? Maybe I am misunderstanding -- what would this even look like?

Rear fogs...

rear foglights light up red but very bright. They're usually as bright as your brake lights when applied. They help vehicles behind you, see you in heavy fog and rain.

ahhh, ok. So where do they mount then? If they're as bright as brakelights then

they'd have to mount somewhere else, right? Or you wouldn't be able to tell when you hit your brakes. I looked at the pshopped pic in another thread and couldn't tell what had been pshopped, except that the left side rear lights looked like they were on while the right side didn't. Was that it? That's the whole difference? Wouldn't that look like you were driving around constantly with your foot on the brakes?
