Started out on ski's, quickly switched to a board and been on it 15 years. It is nice living in SoCal. We are planning some Mammoth trips and my family has a cabin in Big Bear. My mom and brother live in CO so I always go out there for christmas and hit up Breck, Keystone, Copper, etc.... Best of both worlds I guess. Stay safe out there this season guys

None of those photos show bachelor, this one does though! it was my view right before arriving there and landing.

Also I'm going up for my first day of the season this weekend at a-basin! Wooot.

And pretty funny, I just picked up my season pass called the Colorado pass, on it, it says "it's why you live here". Yes! It is why I just moved here!

Oh and good news for any other Colorado boarders, apparently Breckinridge just bought northstar Sierra, so a season pass at either place is good for the other resort for 5 days! It'll be perfect for my trip home on Christmas break, free boarding at tahoe!

go to sierrasnowboard.com and buy some of the softer sierra boards they offer. Get your self a decent set of bindings (that are durable) and a pair of good fitting boots. Just make sure you have pretty water resistant pants because most likely you'll be on your a$$ all day. good luck and have fun!

Rent a setup if it's your first time, no sense in wasting money. Just make sure the boots fit properly. Boots should feel snug but not suffocating. This was an adjustment for me because I'm used to having my street shoes be loose. Also get a proper pair of wool snowboarding socks. If you wear street socks your feet will get wet/cold and combine that with improperly fitting boots and you'll get blisters in no time.

Sick! That's a cool shot. What board you riding on? Looking for a new snowboard. I've tried Burton and Lib Tech. I liked the Lib Tech but it's a little out of my price range... Can't wait to get out there!

hahahaha that's hilarious. Damn I wish I could start riding now. I'm building a snow maker this year so I can shred in the back yard after school once it gets consistently cold. I talk about the damn snow maker every year, but I finally both a power washer and an air compressor so I'm doing it!

This is not me, shooting a buddy. I ride a Burton thou, Honestly I like it for trail riding, but its not a good park/jib board.. I have a busted up Darkhorse with some TechNines on it... my Burton set up is Burton on Burton... and again, I like the older TechNine bindings alot better...

here is some more footage.. Chris Diziki - doing what he does.

My tip is don't get discouraged because you're going to be in a lot of pain until you get the hang of it.
Also carry a tool with you so you can adjust anywhere on the mountain.
I think bunny slopes suck for beginners, they aren't inclined enough catch a good edge or plow.
Oh yes, watch out for bears and wolves.

Yeah... turn your feet out, you look like a duck.

my set up.... front foot is +10* to +15* and back is usually -5* to -10*.... so your feet kinda look like this, \\ //.... not like this || ||

alot easier to balance, and because your upper body is slightly facing forward its easier on your ankles if your front foot is turned forward a bit.
