no it all happened about mid way through or so, it was an hour and a half long so maybe you missed the end half. YOu had to really be paying attention to catch the fact that the radio girl was his wife. I had to play t twice just to make sure the picture and the girl were the same people. I will say i am a little worried about the show. Its not like true blood or something where the monsters can have character development. It is sort of like watching 28 days later but having to wait a long time to see the end. This could be good or bad. Either way the first episode was very very good, and i have no doubt that i will keep watching

I noticed Frank Darabonts name in the credits!

That's a serious indicator of quality, depending on his involvement.

just finished the first episode and im hooked. one thing i wondered though:

why do all zombie movies/shows pretend like they have no idea what zombies are? if a zombie apocalypse descended upon us, and i had to explain to a dude what happened, id just tell him zombies happened and he would understand. i wouldnt have to explain sh1t like if you get bitten you'll turn into one too.

also, are we supposed to believe that the main character had been hospitalized for months during the zombie apocalypse and survived off a single iv?

Brilliant point........its like the word "Zombie" doesn't exist or there has never been a zombie movie in these alternate universes

in any case, it's weird though. in a vampire movie, they'd refer to them as vampires.

Not only that, but they said his wound was really rank and I'm not sure how long he was out, but with a wound that wasn't changed and even from the IV left in his hand for long periods of time, he probably should have gotten septic and possibly died or been in pretty bad shape when he woke up.

and you guys sound like a bunch of girls talking about a soap opera, none-the-less this is a good show, watched it the other day and will be tuning in tonight after the Giants game
