Brembo BBK Rotors Replacements
I know a Few of You Guys are running BBK. I was doing some research and say that Brembo Replacement Rotors are like $500-600 per ring. Then, I saw Stoptech Aero Rotor Rings are that Decently Priced at $200-250 Per Ring. Finally, I saw RaceingBrake have only the 355mmx32mm for $195 Per Ring.
Any Tips Guys? I really dont want to Spend 2 Grand on 4 rotors. Also, Stoptech Aero Rotor Ring 345mmx28mm the same as the Brembo's? Cause no one said it's compatable... Alot of People Told me NOT to go RacingBrake as they have issues with them and etc... -TrippinBimmer

A reason I never have and probably won't ever go BBK...ever: replacement parts almost cost as much as an entire new setup. GL

I couldnt tell you if they were compatible, but I do know that StopTech is definitely a quality product.

If the attachment points are the same...don't see a reason why a brembo and ST ring couldn't be interchanged.
This is the reason why I went with my UUC/Wilwood kit...parts are a lot cheaper since it uses the OEM M3 rotor and a fairly common pad...as long as you stick with the 4pot calipers. 6 pot? Pad selection is a whole different story. But, I think the Brembo and ST stuff will last a lot longer than OEM parts since they are bigger and thicker, can dissipate more heat faster, and made to handle more heat. While replacement parts are expensive, I think you get a lot more mileage/track time out of them. Not saying the a BBK is always cheaper in the long run... |

![]() For anyone who wants to know if the Stoptech 345mmx28mm will fit on the Brembo Rear. There is currently no StopTech 345x28mm rear rotor/hat combination for this Brembo kit. In fact, the StopTech 345x28mm AeroRotors do not mate with the Brembo hats for this kit, since the StopTech rotor mounting flanges are beefier and interfere with the Brembo hat centering ring. My rear is not Brembo so it will fit just fine. but they are replica of the Brembo with less tighter specs.-TrippinBimmer

OT...what do you have on the rear? ST does not have a rear kit.

My Rears are F Carbon BBK. It's from a Company that went out of business 3 years ago. Replacement parts is kinda hard to find but you just gotta know where to look. -TrippinBimmer

For the StopTech 345mmx28mm rotor ring to fit on a brembo hat, you will have to modify the brembo hat (machine off the lip at the bottom) to make it fit. The stopTech 355mmx32mm rotor ring fit perfect with the brembo front hat.
