M3 front sway bar on non-m

Ok...so i read somewhere on here that an M3 sway bar is a direct bolt on for a non-m car....so i bought one off a memeber (should be here today)

Now after searching and reading more this morning i see that it might not be that easy.

i was reading this post from Slo Town

So to anyone who HAS DONE THIS...is it a direct bolt on or do i NEED the adjustable end links?

Thanks for any help

my car 02 330Ci....bar i bought was from 03 M3 (just in case it matters)
