Too many lawyers
Next time you're on your way to work count how many lawyers offices you see. I counted ~45 offices and I'm only 6 minutes away from my job. This is why our damn country is so sue happy. Half of my friends are currently in law school to make it even better

I often wonder if that many lawyers are needed? Do they make as much money as people think they do? I mean how much money is there to go around if there is an office on every corner...

20 minute drive and not one lawyers office, but there is about 3 elementary schools, 2 high schools, and about 5 churches on my way to work, oh and i cant forget the one cementary!

Many times lawyers will locate their offices close to 1) each other and 2) the local courthouse. This saves them time when traveling to each other's offices for depositions and when traveling for court appearances. You just happen to have to drive through one of these concentrated areas.

Perhaps OP should focus on watching the road during the short 6 minute drive to work rather than count lawyer offices... :shrugs:

A factoid I have heard several times.........the US has 5 percent of the world's population and 95 percent of its lawyers.
I believe it too. I think that is why I saw a 'lawyer' driving a Toyota Yaris will a plastic applique on the side of his car advertising ........John Doe, Lawyer cell phone, criminal cases only. yeah.......like if I have a real problem with the law, I 'm gonna go with the guy advertising on the side of his car. Maybe that is his office too.
