Save your money. Get a custom pipe made with a Borla or Magnaflow muffler. A lot lighter and cheaper.

Highly unrecommended, my friend. TSE3 is not designed to be used with headers and will make your car insanely/obnoxiously loud. Unless, that is, what you are going for.

Dude, I love loud cars, and it was just STUPID loud. There were no redeeming qualities about that setup.

Yeah, if you want LOUD, get a Honda with a salad-shooter on the back of it, or a small-block V8 with a totally unrestricted exhaust set-up. Otherwise, I think the TSE3 is about as loud as a BMW needs to be.

The TSE3 "Light" is the rear muffler section only. It has a nice deep sound to it but is not quite as loud at full throttle as the full TSE3.

The full TSE3 is from the cat back and includes the rear section plus front resonators. This has the same deep tone but noticeably louder at full throttle than the TSE3 "Light".

The TSE3 was designed for use with the stock exhaust manifold (and therefore cats) in place and not with any other headers. Personally, I think it's the best exhaust for an E46 non-M with stock headers.

That being said, there are a few of us that have made the TSE3 work with headers but it means removing the stock front resonator, adding a specific Magnaflow resonator, high flow cats, or some combination of these parts. Put it this way, if I ever had the intention of adding headers to an E46 non-M I would not recommend using the full TSE3. However, the "Light" section would be fine since the mid-pipe is the part that needs to be modified.

The TSe3 is not LOUD, it's loud. It is probably slightly louder than a stock 370z at OT.
I am happy with my TSe3.

The TSe3 + headers was more obnoxious than bouncing my cbr600RR off the rev-limiter in a closed garage.

Thanks man! Yeah I mean definitely keep a theme going. Like if you're gonna get gloss rims, do gloss everywhere else. If I could get my hands on m3 mirrors I would paint them black as well
