I'm in too, especially for the sliding around bit! I've got some almost worn down all seasons which are PERFECT for sliding as I found out last week...

All Season + Icy neighborhood = zero traction + curb = me last winter.

Only if you keep it under control and no turning the DSC off unless it's in some kind of open parking lot. Otherwise it might end badly...

Next winter will be snow tires and utter domination of the MN winters.

a few of us e60 guys meet every Tuesday night. It started over on 5series.net but the group has morphed into a e46, motorcycle, bmw, M3, and just plain guys night as only two of the guys even have e60s anymore. a chance to get out of the house. Meet this week is at Lucky's 13 in Bloomington at 8pm & will grab some food & a beer. in the summer we end up either riding the bikes or rolling the cars someplace cool.

I send out a group text as to where we go every week & it's usually between 5-10 guys depending on schedules.

shoot me a text if you want to come. I try and get to where ever we are going a few minutes early to secure a table if i can

cheers
Sean

turn wheels all the way one way, then all the way the other way. The lights should go off.

Yeah the steering wheel. Weird, I've had all those lights go on a couple of times because I'll move the steering wheel with the battery unhooked. This movement "calibrates" it I guess.

Test the battery, could be bad even though you got it last year.

What scanner do you have? These codes are only retrievable with bmw software only. OBD readers wont pull these codes.

I'm at JB Eurotech getting the car scanned.

Hey guys this weekend I plan on replacing the lower intake boot, replace valve cover gasket, clean maf and change the oil . Anything else I should do while I'm in that area ? Any tips ?

I also don't have a torque wrench. Could I get away without using one or should I just buy one?

Ever since the cold and snow showed up my car has been throwing a fit . Thanks fellow minnesnowtans

I'd get one for the VCG, its an important one to have torqued down properly.
