318i ignition problem
Hi,
new here, and I have a strange problem on ignition. The car is 318i, sedan, 2002, FL, and the problem: When I turn the igniton on, the engine starts, but it revs under 600rpm and it seems like there is no fuel, it coughs, and then the engine stops. But when I turn the key for the second time in starts as there were nothing wrong. The car was at the BMW servece many times, the computer reads no errors and we changed: all ignition coils fuel pump reley in connection with the fuel MAF fuel filter Batery was checked, and the car doesn't have any other problems and this one seems to happen more often, almost every day now. The next thing that BMW guys said could be the ploblem is the servo motor in the cylinder head (n. 9). ![]() Could that be the reason for this? I've searched the forum and couldn't find anyone with the same problem. Last edited by McBeth; 09-11-2010 at 10:55 PM. |
