Help with Cams

yes i have searched

looking for what cams to select for a 2000 323ci platform.

a local 2002 330ci is parting out. any gains from those cams?

ECS also has a kit

http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330...mance/ES17871/

would these possibly work? possible gains?

anyone with a 323 running any cams with some advice

just looking for some options

this is the daily driver, and im aware its just a 323ci. so leave the negative comments to yourself. just looking for a little more spark to the car for spirited drives. thanks

If you're going to go to the trouble of doing cams, put in Schrick cams.

Also, have you looked into the 330 intake manifold swap? Seems like it makes some nice gains.

The ones Turner sells are the right ones.

Have you looked into installing cams? You'll need several special tools running several hundred dollars. The 330 has a slightly more aggressive cam. Can't remember if it's the intake or exhaust. Not worth it for all the labor and expense involved.

No, Those are ZHP cams for B30's only.

+1 i did my own cam job, the tools are around 300$ and the install was a pita. if you do it, go shrick, because it would not be worth the work if not...

btw the cams are hollow and if you do it wrong you will break them

The B30 Intake cam has 9.7mm of lift and a duration of 240 vs 9.0mm of lift and 224 degrees of duration for the others. Not worth it
