My lcm is unresponsive!

This weekend while driving around in the snow my indicator came on saying that one of my lights were burnt out. While driving home minutes later it came on and then went off twice and finally stayed off. When I got home I checked all of my lights and every one was lit. Later I got in the car and my headlights came on automatically while my LCM switch was set to off. My instrument cluster was not lit which was a problem because it was now dark outside. I tried to turn the LCM to on and nothing would happen. So I am unable to get my instrument cluster to be lit, I cannot turn my high beams/fog lights. I cannot turn the lights off unless I turn the car off. And also the arm that I use for my turn signals is unresponsive as well.

Remove trim pull out lcm and inspect the wiring in the back. If all looks good disconnect the lcm and turn the car on. If all lights stay off like they are supposed to likely u have a faulty lcm, if not u have electrical problems.

unplug the neg. terminal of the battery for a few minutes. unhook any aftermarket lighting, HID fogs, HID headlights, etc. (if you have it).

Cheat Sheet:

GT1/ISIS/MoDiC = Factory authorized diagnostic system used by BMW dealerships across the world.

NCS Expert = BMW Factory R&D programming tool available on the internet (not intended for the public and not available to the dealership network)

OEM = Genuine BMW part only available from a franchised BMW dealership.

DME = Engine Management Computer
