Arrow Peake Research - stop wasting time and money with generic fault codes

Hi Folks -

Every once in a while, we like to remind the community that your cars are unique. We sometimes take this for granted, but the fact is that BMW builds cars like no one else. Likewise, BMW uses a diagnostic system like no one else uses. It is designed to be a fast and accurate way to deliver engine fault information to technicians for efficient repair.

What many people don't realize is that this system IS NOT AT ALL RELATED to the generic OBDII codes that are frequently discussed here. OBDII codes, which are what you'll get by going to an auto parts store, are part of a government-mandated system designed to allow state inspection facilities to monitor emissions controls and faults. Some manufacturers use OBDII for diagnostics, BMW does not.

Further, some generic tools offer "manufacturer specific" codes. These, too, ARE NOT part of the BMW diagnostic system. BMW's system stands alone, and it is what dealers and techs use for repair information.

Because the systems are separate, trying to 'translate' generic codes to factory specific codes can often lead to wasted time and money. Misleading information or completely missing codes are the common complaint of those who attempt to use OBDII tools on a BMW.

Peake Research tools connect directly to the BMW diagnostic system and access the same factory codes that the dealer sees. Not OBDII, not "manufacturer specific" codes. This is why we tirelessly remind you that our tools are the #1 choice for BMW owners.

Our tools are extremely affordable - under $150 from us or our vast network of authorized retailers. In many cases, this is not far from what you'll pay a BMW dealer for a one-time diagnostic reading.

The tools are also unbelievably easy to use. In 30 seconds, you'll have the same information a dealer technician would use to start their repair efforts.

When it comes to DIY diagnostics, we don't consider using the factory codes to be one of the options - we consider it to be THE ONLY option. Our tools will get you there fastest, and for the least money.

Thanks so much for your continued support.
