Xi on Coils, Any1 have pics?

I currently have bav auto spring on stock struts and shocks, and it is simply not low enough. I was thinking of upgrading to coilovers. Who has coils, and if so how low is your car, and how low can it go? Pics would be greatly appreciated
Thanks -D

pics of current setup

Green rims and a black gas cap.

How many of your friends / family / motorists passing by think that is cool?

Am I the only one that cringes when I see more and more of this ***** flare crossing over to our fine Bavarian stable mates?

It has always been my understanding that the Japanese automakers wanted to be like the Germans....not the other way around.

If you drop too far your going to mess up your front axle CV joints...thats a $1,200+ repair. Don't care about ride quality either, eh?

Dreamliner is right about lowering it too far. XI's have less spring travel than RWD E46 cars, so your problem is compounded.

Almost any coilover setup offers difference coil spring rates up to 8 or 9Kg/mm. So you can go into the dirt with almost any coilover setup if that is your preference. But you will pay for the drop with a crappy ride, and poor handling. If that is OK with you, then go for it.

BTW ditch the green wheels, it looks like a carnival ride.

I used to live in Brookline and I would think twice about making a ground scraper if you still live in the Boston area. My xi's bottomed out on stock suspension in potholes around there before.

i feel you man the roads are rough around here, but i love the slammed car look+ ecs makes a metal skid plate which would help greatly.
And i appreciate every loving the green rims, ive won many car shows with my car and most people like it. The style now is slammed cars on bright rims, i give it till the summer until most people are following it.
