Suspension replaced

Hello,
I have recently install 2004 zhp struts and shocks on my 2001 prod 7/2001 sport 330 ci, but the car is about an inch plus higher than before. My springs didnt changed. Could it be that it is not compatible?
Or an install error? Also he tried to install the strut bar and had problems.
I might need to go on some mountain roads tomorrow... Any help is appreciated

Have you driven the car since you put the struts and shocks on? The springs had the load taken off of them and they may just need to settle. It could also be an install error. Make sure to check that all the springs are seated properly. As for the strut bar, the strut mounts probably shifted. Loosen the strut mounts, jack up the front of the car, and move the struts to where the bar will line up with the mounting bolts. Good luck and keep us posted.

Yes I have, nothing unusal. It felt a bit softer than expected. I have not really pushed on a curve. It should be fine. I just want to understand the kinks of a newly installed shocks &struts.
Thanks

Ok I have driven the car for 3 days, and no ptoblems. The only thing is that the car have not come back to the previous height yet. Although difference is minor and might be in my head but Some how the zhp shocks feels softer than my old sports one @ 160k with one leaking shock. At any rate, I am glad all is well with the drive so far.
