tint laws: http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/Law_Chart/S...aw%20Chart.htm

35% and above you won't get hassled unless the cop is a douche.
Go 20 if you want dark and 5 is limo.
Search the showroom for pics.

I have 5% on my car...Trust me, in Florida it's worth it. First, it cuts down on heat so much. Second, it makes your vehicle look a whole lot better. I say go for it, and I have been pulled over around 5 or six times, and all you do is put down your windows, and the cop will rarely ever notice, that is unless he is a comlete jerk.

put down your front windows when you drive so the cop will not see that you tinted your front windows. You'll rarely get a ticket parking unless he's an *******!!

I have a black sedan with gray interior.
In MN only 50% is legal. What do you think guys, is it worth to put something like 50% on my car or just forget it? I do want my car to look nicer and more uniformly, but don't want to hassle with the cops.
Would a 50%front/35%back look good?
Does anybody have pics of this set up?

I'm in Miami FL and I have Tanin Red Lthr. I put 20s all around and a 50 in the front. Have not had any problems with the cops and I think it's the best combination out there, not too dark not too light and the windsheild makes it almost imposible to see insidethe car. If you go somewhere where they know how to do tints well the cops will have a hard time figuring out that you have your windsheild tinted. Just my expirience. I have also seen the combination on tan interior and it has the same effect. Good Luck
