HK upgrade install...

Its not going to be a huge amount, but I bet the wife is really going to like it.



Amp installed tonight, speakers and basslink install coming later in the week. Trunk liner in the corner of the amp is not a perfect fit yet, the tray is a bit in the way. But it fits way better then I expected considering the size of the 4chan Alpine. Supposedly it shouId run cool enough as well. I was going to have a shop run my rcas to the rear on Thursday, unless someone has tips to conceal 4chan and subwoofer rcas with ease. I look forward to posting updates. Her car is an 04 330i BTW....

Run the RCAs down the center console, then tuck them in the carpet seam under the seats. Then, tuck it under the plastic trim on the driver side through the firewall at the rear.

Fyi this worked great but I stopped just before the center console arm rest and went under the drivers seat, then through the plastic panel running alongside the car, and through the backseat firewall grommet. :-)

Which Basslink you going with? I am considering the "Basslink T" and mounting it under the rear deck like the BSW install. Not sure if it will fit though.
