"Loose" Vert antenna, bad AM reception
I'd like to improve my AM reception on my '06 330 CiC, so I bought a bimmian antenna. (The kind that goes on the back of the car near the deck lid). BTW, the Head Unit is the HK w/Nav. When I installed it I noticed that both it and my old antenna got better AM reception when I was touching the antenna. When I let go, the static came back. Any ideas as to what that is or how I could counteract that? The antenna's are as tight as they will go. I didn't seen anything in the forum on this type of question, unless I missed it. John

The antenna connection inside the car at the top of the driver's rear fender well may be loose.
