BSW Sub setup idea

Ok so im trying to think of a simple solution for a BSW style mounted sub setup. Here are a few subs i found that might fit the bill. Some brackets could easily be made up to mount them. What do you guys think of this idea and how it may sound. I have the factory HK system and would remove the fill above the factory subs to allow a little more air into the cabin. Please give suggestions etc..

that fosgate sub looks nice. Have you measured your under-rear parcel to see if it will fit?

Oh yeah there is more than enough room for the fosgate. Honestly it cant sound bad as the box is built aroun the sub thats in it. I just wonder if this will put out enough sound into the cabin of the car though too. Im trying to conjure ideas for this and keep the budget well under the cost of the BSW.

Yeah, I have been trying to decide on something too. I have been considering the "Basslink T", and under-mounting it also, but I'm not sure if it will fit, may be too wide. Do you have the skipass? I do, and am just going to remove the door, that should take care of that issue, but I will also likely remove the HK baffling that you were talking about.

Unfortunatley no i don't have the ski pass and thats why i need to find a hole somewhere to open up.

I like the look of that baselink t you mentioned. but at 250rmw watts i wonder if it has the punch.

That's the same wattage you would be running that Fosgate sub at, maybe even less, as the max that fosgate can handle is 400 peak, which is ~200rms

Sorry to correct you but the fosgate is 400 rms and 800 peak for just the single sub.

Ah, correct you are. Anyway, I have read a lot of reviews that say the Basslink T hits pretty good, but like I said, it may not fit.

Well on the one you are looking into, the "Basslink T" it looks like its 40" wide and 14" High. That should fit i believe
