I thought the 5 series (E60) had it as a "standard" option, that is to say anyone could get it.

At least it was here in EU. I dont know whether it was actually ever ordered by customers. It always seemed cool to me.

I think maybe standard on M5 (E60)?

OEM ones are nice, these aftermarket ones just suck. OEM uses special windshield glass so the HUD is visible but doesn't otherwise affect your vision through it unlike the mirror film this one needs. I'd love a nice OEM HUD, but no aftermarket ones are worthwhile.

I was looking at that but $200 is too pricey for something that have never been reviewed by a consumer online or something that may not even work as shown in those pictures.
