Stock hk subs with aftermarket amp?

Hey does anyone know how many watts a stock hk sub takes i want to buy a small 2 ch. Amp to hook them up since im reading that your cant wire up the small tiny amp it comes with. Thanks

Any decent amp is likely going to blow the stock 6x9 HK's. I doubt they'll take much more power than stock. Best bet would be to buy a set of aftermarket 6x9 subs to go with the aftermarket amp. A single 10" or 12" sub would be easier if you don't mind it taking the trunk space.

It isn't worth the time and effort. Those drivers are of very low quality and will not last very long with a real amplifier.

actually my car was non hk... but i bought the hk sub and hk amp.... a few hours of wiring later it was all hooked up... sadly few months later i blew the speakers.... anyone know where i can get replacement speakers for the amp???
