Help form my Euro Fanatics. BMW Hitch!!

Guys, ladies,
i need some help.
im looking into getting a OEM tow package for my 328i sedan.
BMW USA for some reason thinks their cars are too good to tow anything, as some of us on this side know, as well as you, BMW dealers in Europe will put a hitch on any BMW.

1. So id like help with part #s for an entire kit, maybe a link where i can see all of whats needed? anything to make the part hunt easier.

2. If possible, could someone also tell me the max weight on the tongue load too.

Im just looking for alternatives to haul my scooter(s) to the race track, and i figure this would be cheaper than a beater truck, + insurance, etc... so any help with this would be great...

I put this here since its a euro part and pretty hard to get stateside. I need a proper BMW hitch as i am NOT going to cut a hole in my bumper. So the cheaper ones that can be made to fit here are out of the question

Thanks for any help guys.

Have U tried the realoem katalogs. At least I found a towing retrofit kit for my car (touring/estate):

damn, i thought the E46 attached to the spare wheel hub also, but according to your link and the one for a euro 328i like mine, it seems its mounted via the bumper support baracket or something, directly into the frame. Much better setup, but i bet that requires some serious installation time.

i see the alu on listed as ENDED by the part # but the steel one 71606767756 still has a valid part # it seems.
lemme contact my parts guy.

The stützlast

Hope U find your balls

I think the size for hitching ball is different in US and in Europe, so you might get a wrong size if you try to use European version. But the installation for the oem kit is probably not a bad job due to the fact it is designed just for your car.

The "tongue last" is probably meaning same as the stützlast, see the picture. For my car the max weight for the trailer (with brakes) is 1800kg. I think in Europe it's the same as the weight of the car.

yep, 75kg tongue weight and 1800kg sounds like a lot more than i need, so thats great.
