PIC: Request Khoalty License Plate Led's

I'm looking into Khoalty led license plate bulbs.

from what i searched so far:
The 39" festoon fit but you have to stretch the tabs an inch on each side (NBD)

The 36" might throw a code and they might be underpowered because of only 3 leds

Anyone post pictures of either one. i want some that clearly displays my plate, but not to the point where it screams "LOOK AT MY PLATES, THERE SO BRIGHT"

I'm not sure about the khoalty ones, but i can vouch for them as a company, awesome customer service. But here you might want to give these a check. I'm going to order my set tomorrow since i have the codes out on my dash and mine are dying..

Thanks for the quick response! Personally i think "9" led bulbs might be a little too much. I could be wrong.

I used the 4 LED ones. It's a good snug fit and it doesn't look insanely bright(tacky).

Keep in mind the little plastic cover that goes over it is pretty dense so I don't think you'll have any issues w/ too much light.

If you get the 4 LED and change your mind, they can be used in other places in the car (Vanity lights?) and so can the 3 LED (foot wells/glovebox?). So if you order both sizes and try them, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. You could start to swap your interior with LED or keep them for spares (if you already have LED interior.)

I was told that free shipping only applies to orders of $150 or more.

The problem with going too bright on the plate is that you're never going to get even coverage. So as they get brighter they start to stand out more and more with the dim area in the middle of the plate.

i have the Khoalty ones on my car...they're plenty bright.
They are a bit bigger than the original bulbs so you kinda have to push them into the holder but they work fine with no error codes.

just a little update:
I emailed khoalty about 8est, asking about the free shipping and got a response almost within seconds. He said there was a glitch with the Google checkout and my money would be refunded. i had no more questions i have trust that ill get my free shipping. if it was $10 or so i wouldn't have cared but from coast to coast it gets pricey

THANKS

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! We do our best to give the best service at all times, every time, regardless of the situation or dollar value. To us making you guys happy is worth more than arguing over a few bucks!

We are working on our web site to add more information to the product pages, customer install pictures, customer feedback (so threads with information like this one that will eventually fall into the archives still keep their info 'mainstream'), and every thing you'll ever need to know about the products we carry all in one place!
