I don't want to do the whole double din vent mod, so I'm looking to this as an alternative.

OR do I use the VPA-B222 and the DVA-9965?

on all of your post, you've really provided a lot of useful audio information to the board, in my opinion.

I also intend on using the PXA-H701 and I believe I'm going to go the way of the Blackbird for NAV and either Ranibow or Focal for the speakers.

Thanks in advance.
Well, I'm far from an expert, but here's my best advice...

I'd do the vehicle hub pro - only if you can go without a cd slot up front. The reason being is that you have the capability of adding nav and all the rest of the goodies. On top of that, you get to keep the piece in rear of the car which makes the install easy.

I also despise the look for a standard din unit in the e46 dash. The vpa also gives you the ability to control the H701 from the touch screen and you will want that or the c701

Thanks for the advise. Now all I have to do is wait for the new touch screen to be released and for Rich to get some free time to work his magic on a trim for it.
