I'm told that peanut oil is fantastic for this purpose. (You'll need to re-wax anything it gets on, of course.)

Pencil erasers, especially those big magic rub erasers or any pentel eraser. I've found that the normal pencil with pink eraser doesn't work as well as mechanical pencil erasers.

Definitely, peanut butter. Erasers work as well, but they will wear out the trim over time.

Spray Armoall on the trim and wipe off with a rag that always works for me.

I had these annoying wax streaks on the balck plactic trim on my mirrors until I tried Griot's Rubber and Vinyl Dressing. To my surprise the black was BLACK! I guess Armor-All works the same, just with more corrosive additives.

The problem with using rubber dressings/sprays, is that it only hides the wax residue. Once the dressing/spray wears out, the residue will show again. Only way to completely remove is with peanut butter or eraser. After you do this, you can use the rubber dressing/spray.

I looked at that waxblaster site - it costs way more to ship it than the product costs!
