No problem. Super 77 is what a lot of DIY grab to do their headliners. Sometimes its fine but touch it in the heat and it'll fall. Super 99 is like HULK strength glue compared to 77.

sorry for taking so long to respond I totally missed this question. I would use linen. since it is tough, easy to scotchgaurd, and thin. you could also use a vinyl or leather.

I really liked your mod. I don't have my own E46, but my wife has a 2k 323i and my daughter drives a '99 323i. I was showing them this mod and both of them was going Ewwwww! I told them they were crazy, that it was sweet.

sorry. didnt mean to bust your balls. Finding the right fabric makes all the difference.

did you do the bit around the shifter too?
