jetjockey Registered User Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: look up...way up. Posts: 35 My Ride: Bus...a big one. View My Garage	Lower Intake Boot contortion So I'm part way into a VCG and Oil Separator replacement on an 01 330i. The VCG is complets now, but I'm having some difficulty getting to the clamps on the lower intake boot. Any suggestions on how to approach this? the bolts are facing down from what I can see. I've been trying every combination of u-joint and flex joints that I have, but there has to be a better way. Can these be reached from below easier than from the top? And next question...can the heat shield around the brake booster be removed without taking the vaccuum line off of the brake booster? I've been fiddling with this for over an hour now and that's the only solution I've come up with so far, but haven't tried yet as I'll have to get a replacement hose clamp for that.
